The red wine Ruppertsberg Reiterpfad An den Achtmorgen Pinot Noir GG, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Smoky new wood, balsamic-spicy undertones, and cherry in various degrees of ripeness on the nose. Some candied notes also emerge with air, along with a herbal edge. In the mouth the wine has a fine, but also immensely powerful, long-lasting tannin structure, coupled with marked minerality, dissolving very well into juiciness and ripe acidity towards the finish. Delicate fruit completes the picture, which has plenty of potential.
