The white wine »Imperiale« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Cool and also weighty on the nose, star fruit, citrus and stone fruit develop complexity. Fine bourbon vanilla follows on the palate, some rock flour, then ripe elegant fruit again. Very good acidity and fine minerality lead into a long finish.
