The white wine »Gesellenstück« Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Wachner has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A little closed on the nose at first, then with notes of green apple, pear, some citrus fruit, green branches, hay and yellow flowers. Fine texture on the palate, yet slender and straightforward, now also with a nutty undertone, perfect for autumn mushroom dishes.
