The sekt Silvaner brut nature, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Werther-Windisch has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Tart apple, pear, pear skin, fine caramel and fine yeast savouriness with mineral notes on the nose, walnut bark, a hint of miso. Powerful on the palate with trenchant acidity and structural content, the mousse is solid, the savouriness takes over in the finish, beautifully unadorned.
