The red wine »Georg Gustav Hommage«, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Wiedemann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah from the region Baden in Germany.
Intense bouquet with notes of ripe black cherry, cassis, blackberry and elderberry, fine wood aromas, pipe tobacco, black pepper, a touch of bay leaf and eucalyptus. Concentrated, intense and rich on the palate with ripe, fine grained, structured tannins, supporting the fruit, black cherry, elderberry and blackberry, harmonious with well integrated power, a long finish and good ageing potential.
