Tasting Notes
Subtle new wood, plus the first aromas of ripeness: netted melon, something savoury like caraway, apple, taut on the palate, pithy acidity, the full body seems slimmed down by the taut nerve, but the wine has a lot of extract, and shows a somewhat more intense woody character on the finish than on the nose. Full-bodied wine with certain ageing potential.
