The white wine Bernkastel Lay Riesling Auslese, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch – Erben Müller-Burggraef has been rated in 2019 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Slate spice and a citrussy touch, with just a little botrytis initially on the nose leading to loads of savouriness in the background. In the mouth it's almost lightweight - soft and sweet, with a juicy mid-palate. A very elegant Auslese. Finishes with an echo of the slate notes.
