Subtle on the nose, needs air and a large glass, finely nuanced, freshly ground hazelnut, quince, pears, chalky and peppery, all very close together. Powerful on the palate, yet relaxed in its own way, mineral and salty, fine phenolics, restrained fruit, cool elegance.
