The white wine Volkacher Kirchberg Riesling Alte Rebe trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2015 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Franconia in Germany.
Riesling-spicy "greenish" and exotic-fruity notes on the nose as well as a mineral tone of wet stone. Nervous and tense on the palate with good freshness and a hint of saltiness, powerful and - as one judge wrote - "with fire". Nevertheless, the extract is light-footed and the acidity refined.
