The sweet and dessert wine Sommerach Katzenkopf Scheurebe Spätlese feinherb, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Franconia in Germany.
The finely tart Scheurebe also impresses with a fragrant nose, fresh and cool at the same time, delicate citrus notes are paired with airy hints of white flowers. On the palate it is beautifully deep, the juicy fruit has an animating bitter almond note and citrus zest.
