The white wine Sommerach Katzenkopf Traminer Spätlese trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2017 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Franconia in Germany.
The excessive rose is tempered by spicy notes of mace and vetiver as well as tropical fruit. The attack has a creamy texture and typical viscosity, which is clouded by alcohol and tart tannins from the mid-palate onwards.
