The white wine Volkach Kirchberg Scheurebe Spätlese feinherb, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Zehnthof – Familie Weickert has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fragrant, fresh nose, delicate mango and papaya, also peach blossom, plus some rose petal and ripe orange. Delicate acidity on the palate, finely balanced sweetness, ripe citrus fruit, orange, very bouncy and animating, great fun to drink.
