The white wine Pinot Gris, vintage 2004 from the winery Weingut Zur Dankbarkeit has been rated in 2006 with Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium yellow-green. Smoky, delicately spicy notes on the nose, pleasant, delicate exotic fruit, some baby banana, a little chamomile. Fine wood notes on the palate, delicate hints of caramel and cloves, powerful texture, fine acidity, pleasant sweet finish, good ageing potential, good freshness on the finish.
