The white wine Kaseler Nies'chen Riesling Spaetlese feinherb, vintage 2019 from the winery Weinhaus Neuerburg has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Ripe, juicy nectarine leaps to the nose, paired with a freshness reminiscent of lemon balm and a very subtle savoury, hoppy note. Acidity, fruitiness and a pronounced minerality on the palate combine beautifully and round off the Spätlese. Both as a soloist and with slightly spicy green curries; a wine that is fun to drink.
