Deep, dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a subtle oak savouriness, delicate toasted notes, dark fruits of the forest confit, hints of candied orange peel, underlaid with notes of plum. Tightly woven, with a well-integrated tannin structure, mineral-salty notes, dark berry confit and a long, lingering, tobacco finish. Definite ageing potential.
