The red wine Trollinger*** trocken Holzfass, vintage 2012 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Stuttgart has been rated in 2014 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Vernatsch from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The nose reveals very ripe grapes: with aromas of rum raisin, fig confit and chocolate. Strong alcohol, but well balanced by the ripe, inconspicuous acid nerve, ripe tannin and fruit. Present, round wine. Emphasized fullness, but also salinity. Vinified with ambition and skill.
