Tasting Notes
A cuvée of 87 percent Sauvignon Blanc and 13 percent Semillion, 10 to 15 percent of which is matured in new French barriques, the rest in used barrels. Pale yellow-green, very attractive on the nose, fine hints of grapefruit peel, vanilla, tropical fruit, appears mineral, crisp acidity on the palate (7.3 grams), fresh, good complexity, lemon zest, elegant and long. A wine reminiscent in style of white Bordelais from Léog-nan, great ageing potential for another ten years.
