Tasting Notes
It has aromas of lovely nutmeg, grape juice, and ripe citrus fruit on the nose. On the palate there is fresh pear juice, ripe apple, hazelnut, a mild acidity, and a pleasant fruit sweetness. A great wine for drinking on the terrace.
More about the tastingCitrusy, almost Riesling-like, but also with the varietal spiciness of Kerner; marjoram, lavender. A little peardrop. Strong sweetness on the palate and an acidity that remains a little defensive. Fruit-driven finish, almost in the style of a Spätlese.
