It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
This has aromas of damp sand and loess, plus lime blossom, and spring meadow. On the palate it is supple and expansive, almost oily, but also with a good cultivated acidity as a counterbalance, and a hint of oak provides additional composure. It all holds together despite its power.
