The red wine Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Königschaffhausen-Kiechlinsbergen eG has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Currants on the nose with smoky and balsamic notes, cherry, sage and a hint of clove. Juicy and supple on the palate, beautifully savoury, carried by ripe acidity. The warmth of the year is somewhat evident in the alcohol. Lots of wine.
