Cherry and blackberry on the nose, smoky notes with hints of fine smoked bacon and juniper berry. Substantial and also broadly built, fleshy, with ripe acidity and prominent tannins, sour cherry on the palate, has pull and a certain astringency and good substance. Pairs well with meat.
