Tropical fragrances, sweet notes of flower blossoms, some banana and mango, still quite distinct new wood. On the palate, lovely density and structure, an integrated acidity in a smooth, well-grounded construction. With a little further ageing, this will become a full-bodied, round Burgundy-style wine.
