The red wine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Cuvée Anonyme, vintage 2015 from the winery Xavier Vignon has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Brun Argenté from the region Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France.
Intense ruby garnet, purple reflections, broad and bright rim. Delicate herbal savouriness, ripe plums, candied orange zest, some nougat, rather restrained bouquet. Juicy, fruity, round and harmonious, very well-integrated tannins, has pretty length, seems not yet fully developed, still needs a few years of bottle ageing.
