The Fèlsina estate is a "borderland", the border of the Chianti Classico zone runs through its territory, which lies between the last ridges of the Chianti mountains and the first section of the Ombrone river valley. Not far away is the clay heath landscape of the Crete. This results in an extraordinary variety of soils, microclimates and Sangiovese clones, which have been guarded and preserved since the Poggiali family acquired the estate in 1966. Berardenga, Fontalloro and Rancia represent the quality and style of Fèlsina and are a global benchmark for Sangiovese.
