Dreaming of spending a year between fjords, mountains and vibrant Nordic cities? Norway's Working Holiday Visa allows young people from countries with a bilateral agreement to live and work in the country for up to 12 months, helping fund their stay while exploring Scandinavia.

The programme is not new, but applications remain open on an ongoing basis for eligible nationalities. Requirements vary depending on citizenship and typically include age limits, proof of sufficient funds and valid health insurance. Before applying, prospective travellers should check the official eligibility criteria published by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI).
