For the first time in its history, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards will be staged in Abu Dhabi, bringing the global culinary spotlight to the dynamic UAE capital this November.

50 Best has announced that The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 Awards, presented by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will take place in Abu Dhabi this November. Known for its rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality, and increasingly dynamic food scene, the UAE capital marks a bold new chapter for one of the world’s most influential culinary events.

An extensive program of events, developed with the support of the Department of Culture and Tourism—Abu Dhabi, will lead up to the highly anticipated awards ceremony, where the 2026 ranking will be revealed. Highlights include the thought-leadership forum #50BestTalks, collaborative dining experiences known as 50 Best Signature Sessions, a Chefs’ Feast showcasing regional ingredients and techniques, and the awards ceremony itself. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience Abu Dhabi as a destination defined by cultural landmarks, cutting-edge gastronomy, and boundary-pushing culinary innovation.

The move underscores Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a global dining destination, where time-honored traditions meet world-class international cuisine. Following the 2025 ceremony in Turin—where Maido in Lima, Peru, was named The World’s Best Restaurant and entered the Best of the Best Hall of Fame—the 2026 edition promises to bring together the international culinary community once again, celebrating excellence, diversity, and discovery.
