The sparkling wine Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, vintage 2013 from the winery Champagne Ruinart has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Reims in France.
Delicate greenish yellow in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, some caramel and biscuit notes with candied lime zest, lemon oil, white nougat, underpinned by floral notes and kumquat zest. The palate is juicy, elegant, and silky, shows good complexity, a refined structure and lively style with nuances of fresh stone fruit, some peach and mango, and a hint of roasted notes. Already perfectly harmonious, with very good length, and sure ageing potential, a very convincing product from a cool, late vintage in Champagne. Can be enjoyed immediately or put aside for many years.
