Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Attractive dark berry fruit, tobacco, herbal and spicy background, nuances of plum and blackberry, fine oak, some leather, still very restrained on the nose. Powerful, complex, sweet texture, well-integrated supporting tannins, some nougat and black cherry on the finish, chocolaty touch, shows very good length, a Vin de Garde that still seems to be waiting for someone to press the start button. (2030 - 2070).
More about the tastingDark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, delicate watery rim. Ripe cherry confit, dark berries in the background, subtle chocolaty nuances, somewhat restrained at the moment. Complex and juicy, pronounced fruity texture, full-bodied and elegant, very well-integrated tannins, has great length, chocolaty and persistent, impessive ageing potential, a Vin de Garde.
