The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Corte Adami has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep dark ruby with garnet. On the nose very herbal savoury green pepper, fresh cassis and some gooseberry, on the finish delicate ivy and red currant, very individual. On the palate medium weight, nice savouriness accompanies the drink, juicy and clear, balanced and with its own character.
