The red wine Barbaresco Costa Russi DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Gaja has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby. Fragrant and engaging nose, notes of blood orange, fresh raspberry and rose petals. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate, spreads out richly, then opens up with lots of grippy tannin, lots of drive on the finish, a touch of dryness gives up its youthful style, needs a little more time.
