Subtle ruby red in colour. Smells of cherry, plum, raspberry, cranberry and violets, fine, unobtrusive spice. Full-bodied and deep on the palate with a rather broad structure, ripe, well-integrated acidity, the dry style emphasises the chalky mineral nerve, slightly demanding tannins in medium dosage.
