The red wine Hallebühl ZW, vintage 2006 from the winery Weingut Umathum has been rated in 2010 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby colour, delicate bright rim. Finely spiciness underlying plum fruit, smoky, sweet toasty aromas, dark berry, oriental spices, it opens up well with air. Taut, tightly meshed, remarkable complexity, very well integrated structured tannins, lingers very well. It is a serious Zweigelt style, with great ageing potential.
