Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Smoky, savoury, discreet animalistic nuances, underpinned with dark berry fruit, somewhat reductive, it needs plenty of air. Full-bodied, fruity, fine nougat, round tannins, persistent, ripe plum on the finish, it has very good ageing potential.
