Tasting Notes
Deep carmine garnet, broad ochre rim. Nuances of black berries and liquorice, a delicate nutty touch, a hint of orange zest, subtle oak savouriness, tobacco undertones. Juicy, complex and sweet, ripe, firm tannins, dark berries and plum on the finish, mineral and with very good length. The youthfulness of this 30-year-old, based on the great 1992 red wine vintage, is particularly impressive.
