Beefbar to Open First English Restaurant
Global meat eatery chain Beefbar is opening its first restaurant in England next month
Upmarket global meat restaurant Beefbar is opening its first English outpost in November. The first Beefbar created by Riccardo Giraudi, opened in Monte-Carlo in 2005 and aimed to break the classic and stiff steakhouse codes. The chain with its stylish decor now has restaurants stretching from Méribel in the French Alps to Mexico City.
The Chelsea restaurant, Le Petit Beefbar, will open next month and provide "an approachable introduction to the Beefbar brand". The two-storey property will have a bar with 52 places while upstairs will also feature a lounge and bar for 22 covers and a 30-seat dining room, according to Big Hospitality. Beefbar is also opening new restaurants in Malta and Abidjan and a Leafbar aimed at vegetarians and vegans in Monaco. Its Hong Kong restaurant has one Michelin star.
