Celebrate Thanksgiving at Sola in London

Michelin-starred SOLA restaurant in London will serve up a special nine-course menu to mark Thanksgiving on Thursday 24 November.

Thanksgiving is the quintessential American holiday but you don't have to travel state-side to enjoy a festive feast.

SOLA, billed as the UK's only Michelin-starred American restaurant, is serving up a nine-course special menu, which combines traditional fare with modern Californian-style cuisine.

The menu starts with Festive Bites and a trio of canapés, before moving on to Kindai Bluefin, Scottish lobster and then Hand-dived Scallop. The centrepiece is turkey naturally but with a modern twist: confit breast of Copas turkey with morcilla stuffing, beetroot, foie gras and elderberry.

There are two desserts to tuck into including, of course a variation of Pumpkin Pie – in this case Pumpkin mousse with Jack Daniel's crème diplomate and pecans, followed by mignardises.

The Thanksgiving menu, priced at £179 per person, will be served 12pm-9.30pm on Thursday 24 November.
