UK

The spirits brand serves cocktails at their new pop-up tasting room, and masterclasses will be available on 17 and 18 August.

“I've been wanting to offer more chances to taste our products”, said Leanne Carr, founder of Devon Cove Vodka. The spirits brand has just opened its “Tasting Room” in Kingsbridge, Devon. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste potato vodka and liqueurs, meet the producer and they their hand at cocktail shaking. Creative cocktails will also be served at this pop-up tasting room.

“If you haven't tried Devon potato vodka yet, you really must!” said Ms Carr. “This is vodka, but absolutely not as you know it.”

“The Tasting Room” has opened on Kingsbridge High Street during August, with masterclasses available to book on to on 17 and 18 August. Devon Cove creates vodka using King Edward potatoes grown on their family farm overlooking Hope Cove, just a few miles away. It is the only potato vodka to be made in Devon. Visitors can also try other products of this brand, such as their Cove Damson Liqueur, Cove Coffee Liqueur and their cocktail kits.

Ms Carr´s family have been growing potatoes in the area for more than 50 years, but it was only relatively recently that she came up with the idea of turning the crop into something with a little more kick. Since their launch in 2019, they've bagged a handful of awards, expanded the range of liqueurs and launched a cocktail club subscription service.
