Bock Blitz gives tart beer a fruity, fresh twist – the result? An ideal drink for balmy summer evenings.

Ingredients
4.5 cl brown rum
1.5 cl macadamia orgeat
1 cl sugar syrup
1.5 cl fresh lime juice
2.5 cl passion fruit juice
3 cl bock beer

For the macadamia orgeat

Ingredients
400 ml water
250 g sugar
100 g macadamia seeds
80 ml vodka
  • Pour all the ingredients (except the beer) into the shaker and shake vigorously. Double strain into a highball glass.
  • Add ice cubes, top up with Düxer Bockbier and garnish with mint and dried lime.

Preparation of the macadamia orgeat

  • Cover the nuts with boiling water and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Blend the water and nuts in a blender, heat together with the sugar in a pan until the sugar has dissolved and filter.
