Makes about 25 energy balls.

Ingredients
120 g Dates (pitted)
30 g Cocoa Powder
80 g Cashews
70 g Walnuts
pinch Salt
some Cinnamon
1 tablespoon(s) Coconut oil
½ tablespoon(s) Protein powder (ideally chocolate flavored)
For dusting: cocoa powder, nuts, grated coconut
some Chocolate for glazing
  • Put all ingredients except the coconut oil into a blender. Blend on high, then repeatedly wipe the mixture off the edge with a spatula before blending again.
  • Repeat the process until a consistent, slightly sticky mass has formed.
  • If it is not sticky enough, either add more coconut oil or 1-2 more dates.
  • Once the mass has the desired texture, it can be formed into balls and then immediately rolled in cocoa powder, grated coconut or nuts. Chill in the fridge to solidify.
  • If the balls are to be coated in chocolate, we recommend leaving them in the fridge for several hours before glazing.
  • After chilling, the brownie balls can be dipped in chocolate and covered with other toppings.
