Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2022

Founded in 1865 by Alphonse Bolle, the company is now one of the traditional wine houses in Vaud. Its portfolio includes the crus of three renowned domains, such as Château de Vufflens with its mighty medieval keep. Switzerland's first Pinot Noir clone, called Servagnin, was planted in the village of Morges in the 15th century. This historical peculiarity almost fell into oblivion. But the winegrowers of Morges replenished the stock thanks to grafts from the last two remaining specimens.
