Strong, somewhat dull red; mature nose, wood, plum, dark fruit, dried fruit; spicy, mature attack on the palate, rugged tannins; somewhat brittle finish, dry with slight bitterness. Good food companion. Adventurous cuvée of Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gamaret, Garanoir, Galotta, Merlot and Dornfelder.
