Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2023/24

Marco Casanova has been one of the best winemakers in Switzerland for many years. Before he started his own winery on Lake Walen, he was responsible, among other things, for the legendary wines of the no longer existing Bünder producer Cicero. Since 2015, he has been cultivating vineyards in St. Gallen and Graubünden, all according to biodynamic principles. In the cellar, Marco Casanova relies on natural yeasts, using minimal sulphur, and thus brings wines to the bottle that skillfully embody the respective terroir.
