Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

In 1977, Bartolomeo Roagna bought the historic de Grèsy family estate and, firmly believing in the potential of the land, planted his first vineyards with Barbera and Nebbiolo. Over the years, he succeeded in expanding the estate and also dedicated himself to the indigenous Arneis variety from the Roero. His son Mario took over the business in 1995 and from then on only produced quality bottled wines. Since 2013, the entire vineyard area of currently 10 hectares has been certified organic. Mario's son Giovanni has been bringing a breath of fresh air to the production process for more than 10 years.
