The red wine Vigna di Lino Roero DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Cascina Val del Prete has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby red. Deep and rich nose, delicate vanilla spice notes, Amarena cherries and ripe wild berries then hints of violets. Multilayered bitter-sweet palate with tightly woven tannins, ripe fruit concentration, juicy texture and a satisfying finish.
