Alois Zimmermann junior's winery is located in the charming wine village of Tisza, north of the Danube River, not far from the wine town of Krems. In 2007 he officially took it over from his parents Alois senior and Edeltraud. Guided by the vision of his parents, who were able to successfully establish the winery to its current splendid status. There was no doubt in the son's mind that he also wanted to become a winemaker: the work in the vineyard, accompanied by the work in the cellar is truly his passion - this is a process that has always fascinated him. The tending of the vines is of central importance to him, which is why he is clearly to be found more often in the vineyard than in the office.
Before Alois Zimmermann started working in the family business, he was drawn to faraway places, where he explored viticulture from other perspectives. For him, the essence of this experience is to concentrate on his own strengths.
