Sven Leiner is one of the biodynamic pioneers in the Pfalz and far beyond, but above all the Ilbesheim winemaker is a reflective contemporary who shows great respect for the natural conditions in the vineyard and in the cellar when the grapes are being vinified. As a result, all his wines radiate something calm and unforced. As Leiner dispenses with all trivialities - there is no wood perfume, no fermentation aromas and no "serving" residual sweetness - the wines are easy to underestimate. But anyone who is curious enough to get involved with them will be richly rewarded!
