Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2026

Wine has always played a major role for the Rainer family, which led to the decision in 2013 to produce and bottle wines themselves. The declared aim is to bottle only the best quality. The winery in Kaltern has nine hectares of vineyards, planted with the classic grape varieties of the region, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer or Goldmuskateller for white wines or Lagrein and the international varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for red wines. In addition to still wines, sparkling wines and even a gin are also produced.
