The red wine Impostino DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta l'Impostino has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. On the nose savoury notes of eucalyptus and mint, ripe wild strawberries and slightly malty in the aftertaste. Very fine on the palate with sweet texture, very harmonious, compact in sweetness and fruit, finishes firm on a fine salty note.
