The red wine »Quercus« Trollinger, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Warth has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trollinger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Ripe and savoury aroma, some forest floor, dried leaves, clove and juniper berries, dried porcini mushroom, light tertiary aromas. "Quercus" goes beyond the idea of traditional Trollinger, it shows substance, volume and a firm structure, ripe tannins, savouriness and depth, good length, well matured.
