The red wine Barolo DOCG Marcenasco, vintage 2020 from the winery Ratti has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Intensely bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Very intense nose of cherry compote and plums, some forest fruit, paired with undergrowth aromas and eucalyptus. Very polished on the palate, with a fine texture and good freshness, the tannins are tight and grippy, cherry fruit on the long finish.
